Thanksgiving Break was TERRIFIC! It was so nice to get back to Atlanta and see all of you guys and SOME of my friends.
I say SOME because I saw 3...I was available people, y'all need to get on your game.
Anyway, now I'm about halfway done with Monday. 2 weeks from today is my first final! Yayy!!
I was sitting next to a guy on my flight yesterday that reminded me of www.youtube.com/rodders153 LOL
Except he was all "religousy" and kept telling me how beautiful New Zealand is.
Then once my flight got to the OKC, I was able to get to my car and get on the road in about 20 mins, so another successful airport venture. EVEN THOUGH parking ended up costing $42...really?!
Got back to my dorm, changed, crawled in bed, and slept. But before I could do that, I had to unpack..and LOOKIE WHAT I FOUND. 2 Minnies...again. HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!? I wanna know who did it. I can't believe I leave my bag unattended for 5 mins and I end up with not one, but BOTH EVIL MINNIES! *sigh*
But that's okay, because I will be driving home in 3 weeks and y'all will end up with them then, I promise :)
Now, I'm about to go get something to eat and get ready for my next class so I can officially be done with Monday.

11/9/10
2 WEEKS!
I'm coming home in 2 weeks!
This is by far the longest I've ever been away from home; coming up on 3 months now! I am definitely ready to be back in Atlanta, even if only for a few days.
I can't believe that Thanksgiving is already upon us. Seems like just yesterday I was packing up my things to move to Oklahoma and it's already almost time to go home again. While I'm definitely not complaining about coming home, that means that my first semester of college is almost done and with my advanced credits, I'll be done quicker than it seems!
Tomorrow afternoon I am getting advised for the spring semester. After this semester, I should have enough credits to make me a junior!
I had a great weekend in Arkansas. It's nice to be able to see Danny & Kim & Dad, of course. Kim took me to the "slaughterhouse" which I mistakenly assumed was the name of a butcher shop. Turns out, it's an actual slaughterhouse. Yeah..gross. But we got some good steaks and had a great evening sitting out on the back porch watching TV by the fire place :) PLUS I got to do some of my laundry, so that's always a plus.
This semester will be over in less than 5 weeks! Then I will get to come home for about a month! Yay!
But in the meantime, Thanksgiving comes first & I'm so excited to come home & see all of you!
On that note, I have to get back to reading "Tonto & The Lone Ranger Fistfight in Heaven" which is actually a pretty decent book.
:)

11/2/10
Wow. It is getting COLD and it's getting cold quick! It's been so chilly and windy the last two days, it's insane!
I've decided I'm only going to update this when I feel like it because trying to do it every night is a pain. Well, I turned in a paper today so that was the last assignment standing between me and this weekend. I'm going to Arkansas to Uncle Danny's house and dad is going to fly in and meet me there. Good times. It's good because I've been here for over a month without seeing anyone or going anywhere, so it'll be nice to get away for the weekend. Then, only 20 days until I come for Thanksgiving! How crazy is that!? I'm really looking forward to being back in Georgia (:
I know Casey is probably upset because I did the smiley face "backwards" but I LOVE doing them backwards now. I don't know why, but I did it on accident the other day in a text and I love it. Sometimes I don't leave a space between the end of the word and the backward smiley face, such as: I had a GREAT Tuesday(:
Yeahh, I like it that way, so get used to it(:
Justin Bieber is in Oklahoma as we speak..his plane landed in OKC about an hour ago. How crazy is that?!
Anyway, I'm going to bed because OH YEAH! Last night I typed my paper, then shut my computer down before saving it and I lost the whole thing and had to start over AT 3:30AM!! So I got a grand total of 4 hours of sleep last night. Now it is after 11pm and I am EXHAUSTED!
So, on that note, GOODNIGHT!(:

10/26/10 - 10/28/10
Uh oh. I'm starting to slack if I'm having to update 3 days Lol
10/26/10
Tuesday was a normal, run of the mill day. Native American Studies was cancelled, so I only had lab..which sucked haha. But I did my laundry so at least that's taken care off, for a little while anyway.
10/27/10
Ahh Wednesdays. I had an exam on Wednesday in Weather and Climate. I think it went pretty well for the most part, but I'm not sure about some parts, so we'll just have to wait and see. Then I had Mass Comm which was boring, as always.
10/28/10
I only had one class today, as always, Native American Studies. I have a paper due Tuesday so I'll be working on that this weekend. Yippee! But enough about that, let's get to the fun stuff.
So I'm sitting in my room and I hear police sirens. I run to my window like a gazelle, hopping over beds and whatnot to get to my window. Just as I do, I see two police cars pull up, then a third! The officers jump out of their car and run over to woman holding a small child. The officers take the small child from the woman and walk toward a white minivan. As other officers arrive (numbering at least 6 at this point) they begin to get people to get out of the van so they can talk to them and diffuse the situation (they were Mexicans, so there were like 12 people in the van) At this point, I am realizing that I need to be closer to the action. I grab my keys and head downstairs. As I walk out of the building, I hear people screaming and cursing, and then, behind the bushes along the sidewalk separating the building from the courtyard where all of the action was taking place, there are at least 15 people crouched down by the bike racks trying to listen but not be seen. I stopped for a moment, then continued to my car, which was about 7 or 8 cars down from the van so I could get a better view. Then I walked back toward the buildings where 2 girls were watching, so I stopped and chatted for about 30 mins with them. Then my suitemate Alex came outside, so I chatted with him and his buddy for about another 20 mins before coming back inside because at this point, the action had pretty much stopped. But it was fun while it lasted! I have pictures!

10/24/10 & 10/25/10
10/24/10 - Sunday
I attempted to pull an all-nighter with Hailey on skype Saturday night because she didn't think I could stay up later than her, which I didn't (I fell asleep at about 530am) so I slept til about noon on Sunday. Then I watched the Falcons play (yay they won!) and that was the extent of my Sunday haha.
10/25/10 - Monday
Ahhh Mondays :)
I had an exam this morning in Severe & Unusual Weather. I think it went pretty well, but not really sure yet. It was not as easy as the first exam we had in there, though. I also have an exam in Weather & Climate on Wednesday, so that's fun :P
Then I had Mass Communication, which consisted of a lecture on video games, so at least it was something recent and interesting Lol.
I got an email today that Native American Studies is cancelled for in the morning, so that's nice! I don't have a class until lab tomorrow night @ 630. Unfortunately, I have a quiz in there, even though we were supposed to take it last week, but my lab professor never showed up to class. Turns out she was sick and slept through her alarm (can't blame her, I've done that a lot) haha.
So now I'm heading to bed. TTYL!

10/22/10 & 10/23/10
I'm a little frustrated right now because we just lost to Missouri, but moving on.
10/22/10
Friday wasn't really exciting. We had some storms in the morning. A little lightning and thunder, but nothing too major. We didn't get any hail, even though there was a warning for hail & gusty winds. After class got out, I didn't really do anything lol. Then we were supposed to have severe storms in the afternoon, and then we ended up having absolutely nothing.
10/23/10
So I slept in really late today haha. I didn't get up until noon. I was preparing for the Oklahoma vs. Missouri game that just ended. Unfortunately, we lost to Missouri. Even though we only lost 36-27, we were totally dominated. I'm surprised we even scored 27 points. With all of the unbeaten teams, it's not likely that we will be able to hang in there to be considered for the BCS Bowl. But we will just have to see. Oh well, I still love my Sooners! This makes us 6-1, 2-1 in the Big XII. The game ended over 30 mins ago and the guys on my hall are still screaming expletives and slamming things Lol.
I think being ranked #1 is a curse because this is the 3rd week in a row that the #1 ranked team lost. First, Alabama, then Ohio State, now Oklahoma. Missouri better not throw this season away. I hope they go to the National Championship and win. That way, our loss will be justified haha.
I'm getting ready for bed now, so goodnight :)

10/20/10 & 10/21/10
10/20/10
Pretty run-of-the-mill day. Nothing too exciting. We actually didn't end up having a quiz in Mass Communication, which I was so sure we were going to haha. But that's cool. We have an exam coming up at some point in the next two weeks but we're off our schedule so we don't know when yet.
10/21/10
Thursday :) Only had one class today, no big deal. I have another writing assignment due November 2 that I have to start working on. This one is about Native American artwork on campus. Shouldn't be too difficult, it's just a nuisance.
I went to Homeland (my grocery store) and got a money order for $50 and mailed my first payment for my speeding ticket. $50 down, $191.50 to go :( haha.
They're forecasting storms starting tonight after midnight (which is ...now) and all through tomorrow, with some having the chance of going severe, so I'm happy :)
Saturday they're having a football watch party in Couch Cafeteria for the OU vs. Mizzou game, so I plan on popping in there because it's free and there will be snacks available :D
As for now, I'm headed to bed because I have class in 9 hours :P
That's it for the last two days...nothing very exciting haha.
